From the Pastor’s Desk

As I prepared to write a word or two for the Bulletin, I seemed to be overcome with thoughts of these last days, so I decided to quote some of God’s Words on the subject:

Matthew 24:8-14: “All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures in the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

Mark 13:8: “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows.”

Luke 21:11: “And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.”

We could go on and on with many more verses of telling us what is to come in the very near future and even some are already in progress. But I end with a verse of victory….

Isaiah 12:2: “Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust and not be afraid, for YAH, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.”

You are loved, Pastor Don
