Welcome to the last Sunday of this year. This week we say goodbye to 2025 and we shake hands with the New Year – 2026. This past year many of us, if not all, have seem a miracle in their life and we have a great hope to see more in the New Year. Today I hope to offer you a pathway for more miracles in 2026.
Putting God’s kingdom first is the first step on the pathway of God’s miracle, and you cannot walk on this pathway unless determining His will, purpose, and glory is your first priority as you pursue His call on your life. To do so, turn first to His Word, which is the atmosphere in which you may understand His will, recognize His way, and hear the voice of His Spirit. “Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from your law.” (Psalm 119:18)
Second, watch for the little things, the little signs along the way, not in the great wind, earthquake, or fire, but rather in the “still small voice” as found in 1st Kings 19:11-13: “Then He said, ‘Go out and stand on the mountain before the Lord.’ And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire, and after the fire a still small voice. So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, ‘What are you doing here, Elijah?’ “ Let the Miracle working of the power of God be with you in 2026.
