There is great joy when God so touches our family that we see salvations, healings, deliverances, restorations and deep spiritual growth. Prayers of faith have restored marriages, brought prodigals home, healed the sick and kept the evil one at bay.
We all have loved ones who remain distant from Jesus. Some struggle with faith; some are hurt by life experiences, and others have forsaken faith altogether. A mother may face a severe illness; a father may lose his job and income for the family; parents have prodigal children; marriages hold on by a mere thread. No family is perfect, and none escapes hardship and challenges. When we look around at other families, we may think they have it all together, but they don’t. All families need prayer!
God has given every family an amazing yet often-neglected gift. This gift is the ability to pray and have access to the Lord; we all can come to him freely and fully through prayer. Bible passages show that hurting families often have access to great heavenly compassion and grace. Whether your family is in a difficult place or you find yourselves at a peak of blessing, placing a shield of prayer around your household is a powerful gift. Prayer can release the fullness of God’s blessing for all of you. I believe with all my heart that as you engage with God’s promises through prayers of faith, you will see dynamic shifts in your family.
You are loved, Pastor Don
