As I examine my heart before the Lord. I have to say, “God, I count on you to tell me when I’m dry and empty. And even though I love you with everything that’s in me, I sometimes feel that way, Lord, what is the root cause?”
God has everything you need if you just will come to him. We have been invited into the throne room of the Potentate of the universe, “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” (Hebrews 4:13)
God knows everything about you, the good, the bad, the beautiful and the ugly. We might as well confess it to Him and thus we change guilt to a blessing. He knows what you have been through, what you are going through now and what you face ahead. He is waiting for you to come boldly to him and turn it all over to Him. “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.” (Jude 20)
Saints, we live by promises, not by what we see. Encourage yourself daily in the Lord, reject the devil’s lies and build up your faith upon God’s Word. Then you will be able to say in all your trials, “I will rejoice because I have a place to go in my time of need.” Hallelujah!
“Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” (Jude 21)
