Have a Glorious Easter
Once again (at least this year we celebrate on the right day) we get to give homage to our Lord for what He did for us. He came to earth to walk-the-walk that we could not walk … to suffer at the cross with His own blood as our sacrifice … and then He arose victorious from the grave so we could have life and have it more abundantly. This Easter can we come to the fullness of knowing we are truly a “new creation”, fully charged with the power of the living God?
We need not be destined to an uncertainty when we face an eternity without the comfort, peace and glory of the almighty God, wo spoke the whole universe into reality. No, now we can arise each morning knowing that God has a task for us to perform and it is all for the glory of our Redeemer ad these deeds shall never fade away, but be written for all times and for all purposes.
In my reading of God’s Word this morning i cam across a verse that lit my spirit and it comes from Genesis 41:52: “God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.” I know many times we wonder, what I just did; does it have a value? The answer is simple, if it is done according to God’s Word and it is done for God’s eternal glory, then we can rest in the assurance that God has transformed it into an ever-lasting-living-word, that will go forth with His power and his strength. In knowing this, it encourages me each day to be more and more involved in pleasing my Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Have a wonderful Easter and let God’s glory flow all over and all through you this day and for ever more.
You are Loved, Pastor Don
