From the Pastor’s Desk

There is one thing that many of us do not consider often enough and that is: God not only began a good work in us, but He is also building on that until we are in his presence. Let’s look at what Philippians 1:6 has to say to every born-again believer: “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” As a child of God, we need to have confidence that God will accomplish the good work He has started in us.

As a child of God, we need to be walking that path of faith. We need to learn to see our present circumstances in light of the future promises of God. Each step we take today. Even though we are a work in progress now, we have hope knowing that God will complete the work He is doing in us.

Knowing this, it equips us for the suffering now, because we know that these momentary situations, compared to the eternity that is before us, when we will spend eternity in the glorious presence of Jesus. Knowing this out shines all our pains compared t glory that is before us.

We can be content in every circumstance now, knowing that we will have all of God’s riches in glory as we walk by faith and set our eyes on Jesus until we see Him face-to-face. And do not forget the challenge before us; full life today is with Jesus and the ultimate life is in His glory in our tomorrows.

You are loved, Pastor Don
