Congratulations! We survived last year and now we are in another new year. It is another year to once again, remember that the Lord brought you through many harsh times and now it is time to reflect on the faithfulness of our Lord. This below is taken from a writing from World Challenge. May its words be an encouragement for all throughout this New Year.
“When we are dead in sin, God was faithful to bring us to new life. When we were alienated, His love was faithful. When he redeemed us and we still turned away, His wooing power faithfully called us back to Him.
“When our hearts were downcast, God was faithful. When our families struggled, God was faithful. When our way seemed uncertain, God was faithful. This list could go on for pages. God’s faithfulness is infinite and beyond our ability to fully grasp. Yet we glory in it, marvel at it and shout the highest praises because we are sure of it.
“1st Thessalonians 5:23-24 encourages us, “Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lod Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful.”
“Oh, how moved our hearts, how glorious our praise because he has called us. We who had gone astray, who did not think of Him – He thought of us. He called us, and He will always be faithful.”
