This is our last Sunday for this year and what a year it has been. I believe the Lord has been revealing to us, in a very small way, how this world will be in such chaos after the church is exit from this world that it will put a renewed urgency within us. That we are more convinced that heaven is our goal, rather than the chaos within this world, as the evil one becomes more bold in his power and speeds up his activities; not only against this world … but against the church of God and their people.
- An urgency to better prepare us for the battles that are taking place in the heavens and here on planet earth.
- An urgency to draw ourselves closer to our Redeemer and the lover of our souls.
- An urgency to do battle for the souls of those who are not living for the kingdom of heaven.
- An urgency to see signs and wonders through the children of God.
- An urgency to go into all the world and sow seeds of love, compassion, strength and His glory.
- An urgency to move God to the forefront of all that we do.
- An urgency to get involved more in bringing His truth into the main stream of everyday activities.
- Yes, even if necessary, have an urgency to suffer for the cause of Christ, who suffered and died for us.
I believe God is searching the world for churches (not necessary large in size) that are willing to lift Him on high; who are ready to believe that He will move and empower those who are willing; to reach greater heights and willing to put faith ahead of self. Can we grow in this challenge? I believe we can.
You are loved, Pastor Don
