Good morning CORNERSTONE WORSHIP CENTER in Vestaburg, MI. Once again we are not allowed to meet as corporate body of Jesus Christ, however we can and will meet in the Spirit. I am asking that you take a few minutes and read what the Lord has given me for this Day of the Lord. I gave some thought of doing this before the camera (and I will this coming week with a message), but if I did I would needed someone come in a operate the camera and sound, so I’ll wait. As I walked into this empty church building, I went directly into the sanctuary and began to pray … and I was asking for a word. The Lord took me to 1st Peter 2:4 -9. In case you don’t have a Bible handy … here it is: “Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, ‘Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious, and he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.’ Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious, but to those who are disobedient, ‘The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone,’ and ‘A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.’ They stumble, being disobedient to the world, to which they also were appointed. But you are chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”
Here is the truth, we have been called out, by God Himself, to proclaim the REDEMPTIVE truth of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. We have not been called out to hide and tremble before the powers of Satan … be we have been to proclaim Jesus as Lord over our lives.
Over these last few weeks, as the world has attempted to shut down the moving of God, I am here to say it is NOT working. We have seen the power of God touch Carson’s body that had been broken through an accident and it is happening. Even though we are not meeting … God is meeting our expenses through the love and faithfulness of His people. I have had some long conversations with some of our people and in each of them I see them growing in the love and wisdom of Christ.
I read this the other day and I want to share it with all of you: “The spirit of worship is essential to all advances of the kingdom. Just as ancient Israel will only take the Promised Land while doing battle from a foundation of righteous worship before the Lord, so with the contemporary church, we must do the same.” It is time for the church of Jesus Christ to put on the full armor of God and kick the teeth out of the devil. As so many of you have done … we have read the back of the Book and we win. Let this world shake in fear … while we shout the glory of our Lord. See all of you soon. Amen!
