From the Pastor’s Desk

Anchor Bay Evangelistic Association (ABEA) is the spiritual organization that this church is a member and I have the pleasure of serving on the Executive Board as the 1st Vice President. Our President, Keith Conard sent out a letter, dated Feb. 14 and I wish to share a portion with all of you. Slight changes have been made by me.

“Hebrews 11:6 says ‘Without faith it is impossible to please God.’ However, Faith is not just a word, it is a course of action. Where are the prophets, apostles, pastors, teachers and evangelists? Where are the laborers to harvest the field that is ready? We need prayer warriors, people who sacrifice, those who steer the ship and drive the train.

“The world is different and it’s burning. Churches are closing their doors. People (like never before) no longer want to go into God’s house. However we are still required to preach the power of God and demonstrate it from our pulpits, altars and in the streets.

“I believe there will be a great harvest, but it will not be handed to us. We mus fast, pray and work while it is light. Nothing is more powerful than an anointed message delivered by an anointed messenger; but, that message can be delivered in many forms and we must be prepared for whatever the Holy Spirit says to us. Everyone has a part to play. Everyone is gifted. Everyone will make the difference. We must stand together or we will not stand.”

God has blessed this fellowship with some great and talented people and He is calling us from our “normality” into a Holy Spirit driven “war machine” to take the devil on in every battle. The good news, we are on the winning team.

You are loved, Pastor Don
