“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,:” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9)

In these two verses the Lord God is reminding us that His ways and His thoughts are unfathomably beyond ours. This is good for us to remember this when we are interceding for the lost, or for seemingly impossible situations. We must remember that God’s actions far exceed our abilities or what we can imagine.

Along with this type of thinking, we need to remember that Light is more powerful than darkness. And we know that Jesus is the “Light” of the world. We need to get fixed in our minds that truth is stronger than any error.

Let us not over look that there is more grace in God’s heart than any sin in men’s hearts and God today is calling on us to walk in His grace. We need to lean on the fact that there is more power in the Holy Spirit to convict men of their sin, than there is power of satanic forces to tempt men to sin.

And lastly, there is more power in one drop of the shed blood of the Lord Jesus to cleanse men’s hearts from the stain of sin than there is in the accumulated filth of men’s sin since Adam and Eve. God is offering a higher walk for His people, but we must accept the walk and take on the challenges and declare that victory is ours. Not in our power, but in the power of Jesus Christ.

You are loved, Pastor Don
